Self-Awareness, Inquiry, Connection - a mindfulness and meditation workshop
Start Date

End Date

Our ability to self-reflect is the basis for a committed practice and a sustainable teaching journey. As teachers and educators (whether it’s yoga or a different modality) we are constantly sharing and often from a very personal perspective. This needs to be sustained by a grounding in our own practice.

This one day experiential mindfulness, meditation and self-inquiry workshop weaves together ancient Yogic and Buddhist philosophy with modern psychology and neuroscience. The workshop will combine short lectures, guided meditation, self inquiry exercises and interpersonal dialogue, and will set the basis for sharing these practices with others. We will explore mindfulness practices to deepen self-awareness, and heart-based practices to cultivate kindness and self-compassion.

Meditation and self-inquiry practices bring together mindful attention with a willingness to open up to our inner world. We give ourselves time to explore what we actually feel, and inquire into the patterns that are present in our thinking and the habits that are present in our interactions with other people.

This workshop is open to everyone with an interest in deepening self-awareness and understanding, including those interested in integrating meditation and mindfulness into their own teaching.

You will receive a Certificate of Attendance eligible for CPD points.
