The next in a valuable series of Yoga Workshops specifically designed to develop and support women’s health using therapeutic approach to yoga (Special Yoga and Prana Flow) focusing on female health.

When talking about female pelvis, most people focus on the muscles of the pelvic floor and rarely do we explore a deeper understanding of all the muscles attached to the bones of the pelvis.

They have an important role in the female system, not only during childbirth but also before and after. With the anatomy in focus, this is a slow flow yoga, covering the postural work (asana), Bandhas (strenghthening energetic 'locks') , meditation and pranayama having in mind Chakras and Water and Earth elements.

The emphasis will be on a healthy, balanced and strong pelvis and creating a basis for you to follow at home. It is rhythmically slow and therapeutic practice and suited to beginners as well as experienced yoga practitioners.

Although created as part of the peri-menopause and menopause series, this workshop may be beneficial to women during all phases of their lives.
By honouring your body’s natural rhythm and re-connecting with feminine consciousness; you will be working with your life’s flow of energy. Yoga for Peri-menopause and Menopause promotes connection, intuition and creativity.

All the sequences are designed to include asana (posture), pranayama (breath awareness), bhava (feeling), mudras (hand gestures) and movement and/or seated meditation.

The class finishes with nourishing and re-vitalising Yoga Nidra which focuses on self-acceptance and contentment.

Samra’s aim is to educate women and let them enjoy their life whilst continuing the practice at home; thus healing themselves and accepting the new phase in life not as a challenge but as a relief and wisdom.

Early booking advised.
