160-Hrs Trauma-informed Somatic Teacher & Coach for Women

This 160-Hr Trauma-informed Somatic Teacher & Coach for Women Certification Training is a trauma-informed and experiential training for Yoga Teachers, Therapists, Movement Teachers, Bodyworkers, Complementary Workers, Coaches, and other professionals who want to use somatic & embodied wisdom practices in their work with women.

This exploration of somatics while working with and supporting women in a foundational approach to embodied practice and teaching – and it will allow you to take your female students/clients deeper into experiencing inner stability, embodied connection, self-regulation, empowerment and purpose.

The overall aim of the course:

• Learn Somatic and embodied approach to working with and empowering women in their wellbeing and life
• Learn to guide your female students/clients through body-focused practices for connecting deeply with their inner wisdom and guidance through their embodied presence and somatic self-compassion practices
• Understand in practical terms how trauma works – Stress Response, Impact on the brain, Impact on women’s hormonal system, Polyvagal Theory, disassociation, PTSD
• Learn about how to support women to reclaim their power with fierce self-compassion and through understanding Post-traumatic Growth, Power Dynamics, Red Flags in relationships and Narcissistic abuse
• Learn how to work with women through the seasons of their lives: spring, summer, autumn (second spring) and winter – the menstrual cycle, motherhood, peri-menopause and menopause
• Learn about and understand the impact of the Archetypes used within our society to describe women: Virgin, Goddess, Whore, etc
• Learn about Shadow and how it impacts our Soma, Psyche and Soul, and how to nurture and cultivate your Empowered Feminine
• Learn about Becoming Embodied Feminine Leader, and show up fully for ourselves and other, and how to balance our feminine and masculine energies
• Learn how to hold a safe sacred space in Embodied Wisdom Circles
• Learn the language used for working in a trauma-informed somatic approach when working with women
• Learn practical skills and tools for teaching and working in trauma-informed and embodied way to help women experience real transformation through simple daily somatic practices
• Learn to create a stable and safe practice space for your students using somatic practices
• Learn foundations of Embodied Listening (Focusing) to guide your students towards more regulated state and to develop a deep sense of self-trust

At the completion of this 160-Hr training you will receive certificates of completion for:

• 160-hour Further Training Course accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals – upon completion you will be able to call yourself Trauma-informed Somatic Teacher & Coach for Women.
• 8-Hr CPD Teaching Trauma-informed Yoga and Embodied Resilience 
• Teaching Trauma-informed Somatic Approach for Women who experienced Domestic Violence and Sexual Trauma
