Bex is a Bournemouth & Poole based Yoga Teacher. Professional training consists of a 200 hour Vinyasa Teacher Training with additional certification in Rocket Yoga, Hot Yoga, Chair Yoga and Yin Yoga.
Her journey through her own Yoga practice has changed as she embarked initially on the physical side of the practice with an intention to relieve ongoing tightness and pain in her body. Overtime she has experienced a shift in her practice slowing down movements, exploring more subtle stretching and embarking on Pranayama and Meditation to promote ease and calm in her mind and her body.
Her teachings offer nourishing and mindful practices helping to bridge the gap between the practice of Asana and Mindfulness Meditation. Her teachings help to cultivate a deeper understanding and connection of the self by tuning into the breath, paying attention to bodily sensations, and learning to accept reality as it is in that moment.
She encourages her students to move at their own pace and work slowly toward more challenging yoga poses, taking modifications where required to ensure the safety & well-being of her student’s.
Bex believes that cultivating a Yin (passive) and Yang (dynamic) practices creates incremental benefits to the body, mind and soul. She combines both Yin and Yang elements in her classes to provide a balanced practice.
Bex loves teaching outdoors in Nature in the Summer & teaching within her local community she thrives on connecting with her student's and offering a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
