Train to become a fully accredited Yoga Alliance RYT200 Yoga Instructor (vinyasa flow, hatha & kundalini, and more)...a course tailored to the individual....learn different types of yoga and find your own style of teaching. Master classes run by different experienced yoga teachers from various yoga lineages will be held every month.
Costs £2000. Deposit of £500 to secure place
Deposits must be paid to secure your place. Monthly instalments can be arranged. Final payment must be made before course begins.
The course is 22 days in total.
Course Objectives
- Trainees will become knowledgeable in various styles of yoga
- Trainees will learn how to practice and teach asanas, pranayama, meditation, relaxation bandhas, mudras, mantras and kriyas
- Trainees will learn the principles of sequencing & adjusting
- Trainees will become knowledgeable about the roots and philosophy of yoga, including the Sutras of Patanjali, the Bhagavad Gita, the concepts & principles of Tantra and Ayurveda
- Trainees will learn Sanskrit sufficiently enough to teach a class using the correct name for each posture
- Trainees will become knowledgeable in setting up a yoga business, including Marketing, PR & Advertising
- Trainees will become knowledgeable in Anatomy & Physiology, and how to apply it to asanas
- Trainees will learn to embody yoga and how to integrate it into their lives

Standing poses - principles & practice, Class sequencing, Yoga history, types of yoga, Teaching beginners, Teaching safely, Pranayama principles & practice, Introduction to Anatomy - skeletal & muscular system
Module 2
Forward bends - principles & practice, Twists - principles & practice, Pranayama - principles & practice, Teaching meditation techniques, including yoga nidra, Anatomy - respiratory system, neurological system, Ethics of teachings
Module 3
Backbends - principles & practice, Pranayama - principles & practice, Anatomy - neurological system (Eastern perspective), Tantra Explained - concepts, principles, history, Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Sanskrit
Module 4
Anatomy & Physiology- applying to asanas, Inversions - principles & practice, Seated postures & hip-openers - principles & practice, Mudras, Mantras & Bandhas, Ayurvedic Principles
Module 5
Yoga History & Philosophy - Bhagavad Gita, Chakras & Koshas - theory & practice, Adjustments, Anatomy - digestive system, Nutrition, Specialising - teaching children, teenagers, special needs, one-to-ones, specific issues such as chronic pain

Business - setting up as a yoga teacher, Advertising, PR & MarketingTeaching methodology Assessment - trainees will teach a yoga class, assist a yoga class
