Teen Yoga Teacher Training (12-18 yrs)
Become a fully accredited Yoga Alliance Professionals Teen Yoga Teacher Trainer on our 40 hour programme (4 day course)Stress levels for teens are now sky high with exams and high social expectations, and low levels of fitness are due to social media, poor diet, and from being too self-conscious to exercise in public. Teen yoga classes are more popular now with teens finding that it helps them with exam stress, balancing their hormones, and helping with self-esteem issues, as well as improving their general fitness. From seeing the huge and positive effects on teens LKY Yoga Teacher Training runs teen yoga teacher training which will enable trainees to be able to teach yoga to teens, helping them transition into more balanced and happier adults.
Prerequisites: The Teen Yoga Teacher Training course is open to qualified yoga teachers and non-yoga teachers. If you are not a qualified yoga teacher then you must have a good knowledge of yoga asana & 2 years yoga practice.
The course is suitable for yoga teachers and trainees from all yoga traditions who wish to learn how to adapt their knowledge to be able to interact with teenagers and teach a successful Teen Yoga class. Applications are welcomed from yoga teachers, school teachers, health professionals and educators who want to bring the benefits of yoga to their classrooms and establishments. Applications will also be considered from fitness instructors who have experience with teenagers.

Available Course Dates•4 day intensive – 10-13 October 2019 held at The Haven in Stonehaven.
Payment: Costs £675. Once accepted on to the course you will pay the non–refundable £175 deposit to reserve your place. The remainder of the teaching cost is due 10 days before the course begins, unless an arrangement is made with course tutor prior to course commencing.
