Final assessment of the January 2019 yoga teacher training cohort. An exceptional group of trainees. All different and all amazing.
‘What an incredible experience studying to be a yoga teacher at the AFYT has been! The fact that all of us attended the same course, but each participant got something different out of is testament to the attention which Diane and Kara have clearly put into developing the course and ensuring that the individual and their passion for yoga is at the heart of it. I looked forward to the weekends at the AYFT as each weekend was different and we were able to profit from a wealth of knowledge shared with us by experienced teachers and practitioners.
The support we received along the way, not only during the weekends but also in the follow-up 1-2-1s was also second to none. Diane and Kara allowed each participant to understand and own their own yoga journey: discovering their motivation, identifying their goals and then receiving support to achieve it. An environment of inclusivity was also cultivated which contributed to the sense of unity within our cohort and resulted in 12 individual strong and talented teachers, but also it created a powerful support group amongst our peers and a fantastic network as we take our next steps as qualified teachers.’
