DESCRIPTION
This course presents an opportunity to deepen your knowledge base in Yoga and develop teaching skills.It will enable you to broaden your practice and acquire teaching skills and techniques. On conclusion you will be able to competently teach an open vinyasa yoga class which includes both basic and a more developed Yogasana vinyasa practice.
The course will include the following areas of study:
-Asana, bhanda, assists and adjustments, mudra
-Intro to Pranayama
-History Philosophy
-Introduction to Sanskrit
-Yoga and inclusion/disability
-Anatomy
-Meditation
-Teaching methodology
- The morality of Yoga
-Yoga and food, Anna Yoga
-Advanced adjustments
-Yoga Nidra
COURSE OBJECTIVES
-Trainees develop a deeper knowledge in advanced Yogasana with emphasis on alignment and
vinyasa
-Trainees will be able to teach classes based on pre-set sequences
-Trainees will learn the art of observation, assisting and adjustment in asana
-Trainees will be able to teach led classes in meditation, basic pranayama techniques and Yoga Nidra
-Trainees will become knowledgeable about the roots and philosophy of Yoga, Vedas, Upaniṣads
śrīmadbhagavadgītā and haṭhayogapradīpikā
- Trainees will have a knowledge of Anatomy relating to Yogasana
